At least as tacky in its choice to show all the gore details as Mel Gibson's "Passion of the Christ". Watching "Pilgrimage" is like watching a cheap porn movie that appeals to the emotion of disgust rather than sexual arousal.
I almost puked. The story is simple and shallow, but even if it was great, the fake guts and blood flying around would still made it a pain to watch. I can't believe the actors were not embarrassed to take part in this weird production.
