Review of Pig (2021) by Dawdlingpoet — 24 Jun 2022
This is a very mysterious film, quite dark in tone and lighting wise at times, its a slow burn as far as the plot is concerned and it's certainly a bit of an acquired taste I suppose. It has an arty feel to it, certainly. The main character has quite a caveman type look and feel to him and his background is very unclear for the most part, which is where the mystery mainly comes from.
There's relatively little dialogue present at times but it doesn't suffer too much from it - its a film that's mainly visually focussed, if that makes sense?. This is definitely a quirky watch but not a bad one. I'd recommend it, yes.
