I saw this movie at the Oshkosh Horror Film Festival a few years ago. It stands out as one of the most viscerally engaging horror movies I've ever seen. The main character is likeable and very relateable.
......and so is the freaking serial killer! This dude is off the charts crazy. But I think he truly loves her, so when their paths cross there is chemistry and then very engaging drama. This is not your run of the mill hack and slash movie, it's not a cheap thrill.
This is a movie that will stay with you and make you think about life. It's one of the movies that convinced me to love the horror genre because it doesn't fit the mould of a normal horror movie, I love the character development.
