Review of Pieces of April (2003) by Aidan B — 21 Mar 2010
Let me preface this saying that I'm a big fan of low-key movies. Now, this is alright, but most of the characters are fairly stereotypical, and there's really no message. In low-key movies, those are the two most important things.
But, I'd probably prefer this to Little Miss Sunshine, although it's light years from one of my favorites, Amélie. Might be worth a watch, but it's a let down. Patricia Clarkson's character's name is amusing, though.
