Review of Picture Perfect (1997) by Dean K — 22 Jul 2010
Picture Perfect has always been one of my 'guilty pleasure' movies. I can't help but like it, but there's nothing really about that would merit any special kind of award. The characters are likable, the soundtrack is not too shabby, and the actors are attractive.
It's just a cute film, not much to read into. It's your every day, run-of-the-mill chick flick. The main character Kate, played by Jennifer Aniston, hires Nick, played by Jay Mohr, to pretend to be her fiancé in order to progress in her job, and surprise, surprise, she actually falls for him.
I give it a 60% just to keep it out of the rotten category, because it's not the worst movie ever made, and I enjoy it somewhat.
