Review of Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975) by Erin T — 28 Jul 2007
I am still not entirely sure why I love this film - an early 1900`s girl`s school in the Australian outback should not have attracted my interest! However it gets a hold of you with its repressed scoolgirls and teachers, unreal visions, the unsolved mysterious dissappearances and gentle but brutal view of the disintegration of part of the society of the town.
