Review of Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975) by Shaun S — 29 Dec 2007
An unusual, mysterious film. Incredible landscapes. I never forgot the ants crawling on the pale skin. Never defined as either horror or tragedy but something we feel uncomfortable with. There is danger.
We sense it when technology is challenged, symbolised when the watches stop working. Once seen never forgotten.
