Review of Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975) by Carlos F — 30 Jun 2008
Haunting period piece with an a beautiful but, at times, eerie score. The production design highlights both the scenic beauty and, often, unwelming facets of 'nature'. The film is ultimately, at the very least, a criticism of Victorian Era repression.
