Review of Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975) by Sean P — 16 Aug 2008
I waited nearly two decades to see this film and I was not disappointed. Atmospheric and evocative, this film carries you along like the doomed school girls ever ascending Hanging Rock until they disappear inexplicably.
You look for answers to the questions but they never come. It's original. It's tempting. It's in a great print by Criterion.
