Review of Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975) by Stefan S — 05 Oct 2008
This is what a true Horror is. Theres no gore. Theres no violent deaths. However there is a real mystery surrounded by what can only be described as the most hauntingly beautiful atmosphere ever captured on film.
It's a film not appreciated enough nowadays because of its time and setting (both being made and set in australia perhaps).
Its one of the most enchanting, mysterious and disturbing films ever to be made by Australia.
