Review of Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975) by Citizen P — 22 Feb 2010

I liked this movie alot. Many would probably disagree with me though, mostly because of the slow pacing and that there really is not much happening. So if you loved "Transformers 2" and similair "no-brainer" action movies you should probably stay away from this.

I was not at all bothered by the slow pace, actually it did not struck me until it was over that there actually was not much going on at all.

It's not often a movie manages to keep my full attention, but this did. The movie is beautiful with mesmerizing shots of nature and captivating music. The movie is also, at times, very haunting and there is a creepy atmosphere present throughout the movie.
