Superb mysterious Australian drama of 2 girls and their teacher who vanish off the face of the Earth when a group from a private school visit Hanging Rock for a picnic on Valentine's Day 1900. Beautifully shot with a wonderful soundtrack especially the pan pipes.
It suits the almost mystical and dreamlike feel of the movie. Even the rock itself looks eerie and menacing. Well worth watching.
