I'm not sure what all the fuss is about...I was really starting to enjoy the cosmic out of world australiana atmosphere of the film and then this annoying narrative stared popping back in and out.
Maybe it was groundbreaking for its time? but that's hard to believe... it was the 70's.
I think I had too many expectations going in. I got my hopes up when it started getting abstract but then the film seemed to be to afraid to venture into its own mysterious depths for too long.
Remake?
