Review of Piano Man (1996) by Alan J — 23 Sep 2008
Rubbish...this genre has been done effectively with movies from S. Korea such as 'Memories of Murder' and 'Tell me Something'. When the first 20 minutes fails to draw the viewer in, you know you are in for a long, unsatisfying experience.
The killer's identity is revealed fairly quickly, and you have to put up with crappy musical numbers, while of little value, diminish any suspense and drama the movie is attempting to create. Just a mess of a story that did not give me any reason to enjoy watching.
