Review of Pi (1998) by Lesley N — 03 Mar 2011
Aronofsky's first film is a black & white drama about a tortured genius trying to discover the mathematical secret of life, the universe, and the stock market using complicated formulae, Fibonacci and a very bg computer chip. . Genius mathematicians have a habit of killing themselves so Max the mathematician's descent into madness is inevitable, especially when theres Wall Street thugs and Hasidic Jews after his results.
Interesting film.
From MAGNOLIA12883's favourites list.
P.S Pop fact... the film's play length is 1:23:45.Spooky.
