Review of Pi (1998) by Reetesh Y — 11 Jun 2010
An interesting story of how a person lost deep in his research starts loosing his sanity. Something on the lines of first half of A Beautiful Mind.
The characters were all very real and believable. The direction of the movie was its highlight. Even though it was all simple, it gets to you, very effective.
Movie shows all sides of crazy people lost in their own belief. Not a recommended watch for everyone, mostly for people who are curious and want to watch a different and well done movie. The 1h20 minute movie will feel VERY long :P Also can serve as a warning for future Phd. candidates :P.
