Review of Pi (1998) by Erin B — 05 Apr 2012
Blew me away, having seen it after Black Swan there are some clear parallels however the use of noise and imagery (as well as body pain) make for some disturbing/sympathetic sensations. The use of maths seemed genuine and more importantly actually felt a convincing part of the story line.
A low budget but brave portrayal of the blurred line between extreme genius and madness. Not one to watch regularly, but definitely worth watching.
