I was really disappointed in this movie considering what I have heard about it and who directed it. First and foremost, the movie is REALLY hard to watch. Films are of course much more than just how everything looks, but my lord is this movie ugly.
Its filmed in black and white with horrifically lit scenes where everything seems to bleed together. The plot falls flat at the climax and none of the characters are particularly interesting. Basically its just ugly, nonsensical, and boring.
