Gets to the very heart of madness, genius and "thought". Aronofsky shows in his first feature what a brilliant filmmaker he really is. Tough to watch as a "freethinker" but absolutely unforgettable (much like Requiem For A Dream).
"The numbers mean nothing...only death" (less brilliantly paraphrased in "The Number 23").
