Brilliant premise, beautifully filmed. The cast is perfectly suited to telling this timeless story of natural faith and wonder. Ben Kingsley is wonderfully dark in his portrayal of a local priest, Reverend Templeton, who condemns that which he cannot -- or will not? -- understand.
To say more will spoil the rich delights awaiting all who view this treasure.
