Review of Phone Booth (2003) by Steve S — 20 Oct 2011
I was expecting a little more to happen; but nothing ever did.
It wasn't the best nor worst suspense movie I've seen; there was nothing real special about it though. I give Collin Ferrell credit for carrying the lead role nicely. He was the only one that really had a challenge in this movie. All Sutherland had to do was record his voice, and Forest Whitaker was just there at the scene (which for guys like Whitaker, they can do in their sleep). There wasn't much pressure on their characters to perform.
Overall, it's only an hour and 20 mins, so you're not wasting much time over it. It's not a bad time. Don't expect to be blown away, though.
