Review of Phone Booth (2003) by Neal P — 08 Aug 2013
Colin Farrell shines here as an annoying PR publicist who lies, cheat and is having an affair with a beautiful but naive actress, played by Katie Holmes. The movie turns to a high-adrenaline rush after Stuart (our main character) picked up a call from a random stranger who possessed private information about him and the affair that has been going, which can damaged his marriage life. Phone Booth is far from a 'smart' thriller, there are lots of plot holes left here and there and the twist at the ending left me dry as well. But, it's an entertaining thriller with a fast-pace directing by Joel Schumacher.
6.2/10.
