Review of Phoenix Forgotten (2017) by Andrew K — 21 Apr 2017
With a run time of only 81 minutes, this film still felt too drawn out; and when things did finally start to go astray, they did so quickly leading up to an abrupt conclusion. With that said, the storyline is fairly sound and felt somewhat believable.
The entire film is shot in first person and about equally split between two characters with cameras, so the movie felt like Cloverfield all over again with an X-Files twist. If you like suspense, mystery and extra-terrestrial conspiracies, this film is worth a look.
