Review of Philomena (2013) by Richard B — 06 May 2014
I thought this film looked like a predictable Oscar bait type film that I wouldn't really like, but I ended up liking it. It was nice to see Steve Coogan in a dramatic role, even though he is funny at times.
The film takes a lot of twists that I didn't see coming and even though it was based on a true story, I knew very little of the plot nor the twists it would take. Overall a very solid and enjoyable film with two great performances.
