Review of Philomena (2013) by Jeremy Y — 31 May 2014
Well-done film based on a true, heartbreaking story that manages to leave you both pained by this senseless, misogynistic tragedy and uplifted by the strength of the people impacted. Really an odd couple film for most of the story, it offers a powerful ending.
Well acted, well done overall.
