I can see why this was Oscar nominated. Touching, funny, brutally emotional in places and fantastic performances from Dench and Coogan. it was hard to take your eyes off the screen as the relatively simple, yet so sadly true, tale unfolded right up until its unexpected climax.
A movie very much worth seeing.
