Am I the only human being on earth who didn't know this was a heart-wrenching, ire-inducing sob fest?? The little boy was 3, just like Rori. Judi Dench reminds me of my late grandmother. The music and writing and characters and actors.
.. I'm just sitting here, heartbroken. I didn't imagine it could be all sunshine and roses but I didn't expect to be crying all the way through, yet somehow also at peace. One of my new favorites.
Lots of thinking and feeling. Even better than I hoped. It was amazing. I'll definitely be watching this again, but not until my heart stops bleeding...
