I personally thought the movie was going to be much more intense that it actually was. The acting was good , but I would have wanted to see more depth and interaction with her child before they took him.
Later on when she finds out about her son, she actually accepts it very well and even forgives the church for all the pain they caused her... I don't know in my opinion I needed much more intensity.
