Touching true story - devoid of "personal interest story" sentimentaltiy - just classic writing, directing, and acting. more could have been done to flesh out Coogan's 'Tin Man' role, but it really is Philomena's journey, and one you wish wouldn't end even though you desperatlely want her to find what she is searching for. (Not unlike certain farm girl from Kansas). One of 2013s best.
