Review of Philomena (2013) by Patrick K — 03 Apr 2014
Philomena (Judie Dench) was forced to give up her child for adoption whilst she was kept locked away at a nunnery and with the help of former BBC correspondent Martin Sixsmith) told her story and uncovered what actually happened to her son.
It was a very good film heartwarming and quite funny at times. Can see why it was nominated for so many awards as it was a story well worth knowing and it was told on screen brilliantly.
