Philomena is excellently crafted in terms of the audience being able to bond with Philomena (Judi Dench) and all supporting cast. However, it seems a bit deliberate in the plot-holes it has, especially towards the Catholics and Republicans, making Philomena appear to be only one side of the coin.
But said coin, is extremely shiny.
