Review of Philadelphia (1993) by Avant G — 01 Jul 2012
I liked it. Basically, it is about a homosexual who has AIDS and is fired for that. The movie focuses on the trial of the case, mostly. However, Andy (Tom Hanks) personifies the stereotypical homosexual and I think that the movie is unnecessarily lame at times (the beginning with the music, the filmed family reunion with everybody happy, the end with little Andy, etc.
). Despite that, it's a really nice drama if you are in the mood to watch one about prejudice.
