Review of Philadelphia (1993) by Jedi C — 29 Jul 2012
Winner of my heart and many awards, This movie is phenominal. Denzel plays an attorney who's phobic about Aids/Hiv and gays. As his rival Tom Hanks is in the closet Gay and diagnosed with Aids/Hiv his company threw him out on the street because they were scared it was infectious, they no longer want to do business with Gays, but on paper or court denys Any of this.
Hanks in desperate measures confides to Denzel. Reluctant both fight the System and for Hanks rights, the movie ends with a sad note death, and victory in the courtroom, both Denzel and Hanks protray The uneducated disease with compasion and explores the tempermental facts of life.
Both are exceptional.
