Review of Philadelphia (1993) by Andy P — 11 Apr 2014

One of the most powerfull, touching and poignant films I have seen of late. And the best part is that it stays so real. From the characters you admire, to the ones you despise, they are all representations of people you come across in everyday life.

Terrific performances from both leads, but also a note-worthy part played by Antonio Banderas. Although his part is relatively small, it is vital to the film, and the sincerity of his scenes really grabbed me.

Both thumbs a up, a terrific movie about subjects that aren't thrown into this kind of light enough.
