Review of Phenomenon (1996) by Chris S — 17 Nov 2007
One of my favorite movies, despite it being so little-known. A couple of campy moments (Forest Whitaker's Diana Ross fetish and relationship storyline comes immediately to mind), but overall a great story.
Travolta played his character perfectly, and this movie put me in love with Kyra Sedgwick. I liked the explanation for the bright light in the sky and its implications a lot more than other ways it might have been done.
