Review of Phenomenon (1996) by Alvin Y — 13 Jun 2010
I found this film very touching and inspiring at the same time. George has received powers after being struck by a flash of light, he can do anything like he is a super genius. From his character, we can see that he is an ordinary man in a very small town with some friends that he trusts him but Lawrie, Sedgwick's character is like George is very nice to him and the one who he canbelieve in himself. George then feels like having extraordinary powers makes his life very complicated. Until the end which is he died, the people that changed his life felt that he was somewhat a hero to this small town after all he has done to them.
So, I enjoyed most of the film and probably watching this film again would make me cry at this time because we get to see how George changed this people's lives.
