Phenomena (or "creepers") contains just some of the following wildly mad elements, a vengeful monkey with a razor blade, a deformed killer, heavy metal music and a very young jennifer connelly contolling an assortment of bugs with her mind, how do these disparent ellements come together? well im not sure they do, but that's what makes this a wonderfully mental experience, often like a bizzare, intensely stylised 80's rock music video and a beautifull, feverently atmospheric fairytale like horror movie, full of memorable, and really random imagery and scenes, it doesnt make any sense or add up to much but it's a truly odd, occasionaly brilliant rock opera, supernatural giallo slasher fantasy that feels like some dark crazy dream.
