Review of Phat Girlz (2006) by Yuuka T — 21 May 2009

I like the message this film is trying to put out there about accepting yourself and how being beautiful is generally all about being happy and confident. No matter who you are or what size you are, good grooming and personal hygiene is always a good idea.

That said, I only watched this because it was craazy late at night and there was absolutely nothing else on while I waited for my French movie to start. I`ll save you from watching it by giving you the rundown.

She had a false ego boost when a hot guy showed interest in her but went nuts on him and lost everything because of her own insecurities but then one day, she just woke up after wallowing in self-pity and gorging on junk food and got on the fast track to success and righting the wrongs in her life. She even stands up to some stuck up skinny bitches hating on her in a club and is supported by the crowd for her civilly feisty new-found pizazz.

I didn`t want to strangle myself while watching it or anything but I would never watch this again if I were given the chance. I wouldn`t even recommend watching this on a slow day. Why did Eric Roberts agree to appear in this? Seriously.
