Great movie. great great great. sad I saw it alone because I had no one to talk about it with. perfectly done. every note just right. everything was connected to the theme, to the spine. really nothing superfluous. and man I did not see that ending coming. im conflicted because I dont know if its a happy ending or not. should I be happy that they are happy or should I be creeped out that its such a toxic relationship? love that im left to wonder.

One of my favorite daniel day lewis roles because I wasn't watching his technique just to see his act. he was part of the story. that was great. really impressive movie. it was always where I wanted it to be.
