I struggled much watching this movie, I won't deny it. It felt to me as never-ending as possible. It sure was much too long for my taste. Its duration made it at times a chore to watch. Although it's narrative was quite intriguing, it never managed to capture my interest for long periods of time.
The performances of everyone shined in this movie with Krieps stealing each scene she was in. I see the Awards quality in this one, but honestly this would be my least favorite choice for best picture at the Oscars.
