The story lacked for me personally and felt a little boring at times. Although I was feeling a bit sleepy. I should probably watch it again. I will say though that the acting (especially Day-Lewis), the direction, the style, the music (Johnny Greenwood), the costume design was all top notch.
And it was a surprising story. I just didn't relate very much.
