Review of Phantasm (1979) by Spencer S — 16 Oct 2009
Not a terrible movie, but a staple of the indie horror genre!? come on. It is not espically scary or campy, the lead is effeminate, the story is ludacris, and the movie has a strange twist in mood at the end.
Despite the movies faults it is entertaining and it has some iconic moments (who will ever forget that silver ball of death?) so I suggest it if you want to explore the genre.
