Review of Phantasm (1979) by Stephen H — 11 Feb 2012
Despite its almost absurd premise, a very well done movie. Michael's relationship with his brother really is touching and very nearly takes over the horror as its main pull. Is truly scary and the use of music top drawer.
Saw this when I was the character Michael's age. What I felt then I get back on every viewing. Great stuff from a then very young Don Coscarelli.
