Review of Pete's Dragon (2016) by Scott H — 21 Aug 2016

Easily one of the best movies this year and one of the best kids movies in my lifetime. The character development is excellent, it balances its action, comedy and suspense well, it's never over the top with its message, the dialogue is natural, the story has a purpose and makes sense, the acting is fantastic.

From start to finish there's no real noticeably flaws or obvious ways to improve it. Just really well made.
