Review of Pete's Dragon (2016) by Jacob B — 15 Sep 2016
Pete's Dragon may not seem like a necessary remake when taking the original 1977 film into account but the film successfully manages to entertain thanks to a visually stunning CGI dragon, great performances from its cast and unexpected heartbreaking moments showing that Disney can make a good remake, even if the original film from which it is based off of generally sucked at the time (and even today, for that matter).
