Well at least I didn't have to listen to off key hillbillies this time. They turned the original movie that was pretty much a comedy into what resembles more of a drama in this movie. At least they did keep Elliot's mannerisms and personality more to the original.
It is a cute family film even if you haven't seen the original Pete's Dragon.
