The live-action adapted Pete's Dragon grasped the adolescent essence of the original animated film, which is one of the very under-known Disney classic. It is truly an adorable bedtime story with a hint of adventure.
Pete's Dragon did not want to be over-complicated with too much glitters (in terms of story) and remained a family friendly story that is although somewhat predictable, but guaranteed to be liked.
