It is nice to see something re-imagined in a completely different way. This film is not the Pete's Dragon of old, nor is it a re-make. It is re-imagined, and I look forward to it very much. The old classic remains a classic, and this one is something completely new.
Judging something because it has the same name, limits the opportunity to be amazed by something new.
