Review of Pete's Dragon (2016) by Gregory C — 12 Aug 2016

Now THIS is how you do a remake! Pete's Dragon is a complete pleasant surprise and a beautifully crafted film. Everyone truly shines their brightest here. The directing, cinematography, script, score, CGI, cast, and performances are all excellent.

I laughed, cried, and found myself genuinely caring and fearing for Pete and his Dragon. By the end of the movie I realized I had just seen one of the best family films ever made. I highly recommend seeing this movie in the theater ASAP, but don't waste your money on the 3D version.

I give Pete's Dragon an A-.
