Review of Pete's Dragon (2016) by Michael S — 05 Oct 2016
Beautiful and leisurely paced, the story of an orphan who has grown up in the Oregon wilderness with his pet dragon but is now found by a female forest ranger is gripping and exciting. The dragon effects are great and the acting is as well.
The story is predictable and the movie is more about us observing how these characters react and interact with each other than plot. Warmth and heart and great for all ages.
